Kolkata :Coinciding with Diwali and Kali Puja in Kolkata, Radio Mirchi, the No.1 Radio Station in Kolkata, has launched ‘Kali Katha’ – a daily Devotional show exclusively for its listeners in the morning time band of 5:00am to 7:00am. The station has roped in Jagannath Basu, the noted radio personality, as the show host in an effort to make the show interactive and engaging for the audiences.
Showcasing the best of “Shyamasangeet”, Kali Katha is an offering by the station to make early morning listening a pleasant experience. The content is supplemented with lots of mythological stories, wisdom with which one can relate to in a day-to-day life and trivia on the music. The programme will also enlighten the listeners about Sree Ramakrishna Paramhansa and the likes.
Radio Mirchi Kolkata has always endeavoured to cater to the changing needs of the listeners. Programs like “Sunday Suspense” & “Gitanjali” have given a new identity to the radio experience in Kolkata.
