Mid Day bags four Asian Multimedia Publishing Awards

MiD DAY has bagged 4 awards at the Asian Multimedia Publishing Awards 2009, continuing its spate of accruing international honours and recognition for its innovative marketing practice. MiD DAY also won the prestigious IFRA and INMA awards earlier this year.

This competition attracted 74 entries representing 44 companies from across Asia and is Asia’s premier publishing awards program that recognizes best multimedia publishing practices in the region. Neville Bastawalla, Head Marketing MiD DAY Multimedia and Ashish Mudbidri,Senior Manager Marketing MiD DAY Multimedia received the awards on behalf of the company at the Gala Dinner and Awards Night of the Asian Publishing Convention at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel in Manila Philippines on July 17, 2009.

MiD DAY’s Bollywood Lunch Contest and MiD DAY Happy Hours @ Work won an Excellence Award in the Multimedia Communication category, and MiD DAY Happy Hours @ Work and MiD DAY Corporate Cricket League are also an Excellence Awardees in the Multimedia Advertising Delivery category.
MiD DAY’s Bollywood Lunch Contest is a unique property that brings leading Bollywood stars to the office of the contest winner to share a lunch date with the winner and his entire office, while MiD DAY’s Happy Hours @ Work allows the winner to win a party for his office ensuring everyone has a rocking time. MiD DAY’s newest innovation draws on India’s passion for cricket and encourages a fun and friendly competition among companies who create their own teams and then have a playoff.
