MediaCom secures 33 shortlist entries for 2013 Festival of Media Global Awards

the_festival_of_media_global_2013MediaCom has secured 33 shortlist entries for the 2013 Festival of Media Global Awards, the joint top performance by any agency and representing nearly 20% of the total shortlist.

Twenty separate campaigns from 12 different markets have been shortlisted, covering a wide range of sectors and brands including Dell, GlaxoSmithKline, Revlon and Subway.

These campaigns were selected from more than 1,000 entries and three have secured a trio of nominations, including Germany’s Move On for Deutsche Telekom, the USA’s Beetle Shark Cage for Volkswagen and IKEA’s Magic Mittens from Norway.

The is the second year in a row that MediaCom has topped the Festival of Media shortlist, and follows on from the agency’s 2012 success as being named Festival of Media Network of the Year.

The agency was also Agency Network of the Year for three consecutive years from 2009-2011 at the M&M Global Awards and was Agency Network of the Year at the 2010 Festival of Media Awards.
