MediaCom Australia named Network and Agency of the Year

MediaCom Australia has been named Media Agency Network of the Year and Media Agency of the Year at the 2012 AdNews Agency of the Year Awards. It becomes the first agency to win the awards in consecutive years.

MediaCom Australia, who retained its title of Media Network of the Year, has had one of its strongest years to date. In the last 12 months, the agency has been bolstered by more than $130 million worth of new clients, a lift in profits and revenue, the development of an internal agency culture and the consolidation of specialist divisions.

The judges said: “MediaCom has demonstrated an excellent all-round performance that translated to impressive client wins. They produced an exceptional standard of work. Strong leadership from more than one office shows strong vision and management.”

In addition, MediaCom Sydney also retained the award as Media Agency of the Year. The judges commented on the decision “MediaCom has had an outstanding year of acquisitions and another year maintaining increasingly high standards. They consolidated and grew with Westpac and have clear corporate missions and values. They are a slick, well-oiled machine. They walk the walk.”

MediaCom Australia is now the proud holder of Agency of the Year crowns from Campaign, B+T and AdNews.
