Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) is launching Hindi daily under the name and style of Jansandesh Times , party sources said in Lucknow.
Interestingly , the title Jansandesh Times is yet to be verified by the Registrar of Newspapers for India . This could be a speculation or the formalities to launch a daily newspaper may be under process.
Sources said the newspaper is being launched to counter anti party propaganda by the arch rival Samajvadi Party (SP).
Mayawati’s newspaper dream if turned a reality, may pose a political threat to Mulayam Singh and his Samajvadi party.
Media brands owned by political parties may put a question mark on the credibility as they will be used for political gains and as weapons to counter rival polital parties.
