MasterChef India creates a milestone by attracting more than 15 lac views even before the launch of the show. The Web premiere, attracting over ONE MILLION views, proved to be one of the greatest opportunities for the channel and created an exciting buzz across internet and kicked off conversations around its newest offering.
The web premiere started on Oct 14th at 3 pm and was on till Oct 16th 9 pm. The current views recorded, scales up to over ONE MILLION views across all websites. This is a record opening for any web premiere for a television show.

This web premiere – First look of Amul Presents MasterChef India was on the show’s website , powered by Star India’s own STAR Player which also had the maximum no. of video views (85% of total) directly. Star India had also partnered with one of India’s most popular website and a host of other distribution partners. The premiere also featured a contest wherein users were given the opportunity to win a blackberry phone EVERY HOUR* during the premier by answering questions related to the content of the show. There was an incredible response on the same and over 13,000 people participated in the contest.
While the industry was overwhelmed and loved the show that aired on Oct 16 on Star Plus, the initial reviews have already started doing rounds on the internet.
