The Summit was inaugurated this morning by the Prime Minister of India, Dr. Manmohan Singh, and followed by sessions on finance and sustainability with respect to global change and demand. Hollywood actor and activist Daryl Hannah graced the occasion and announced the lucky winner,Piyush Mathur, President, Nielsen, India region, who won a trip to Malaysia fully sponsored by Malaysia Airlines at the Summit.
As in previous years, this year’s HT Leadership Summit will feature discussions and deliberation on important global subjects. The 10thedition of HT Leadership Summit had many eyes rolling on the debate titled ‘A liberal arts education is a waste of time and money’, which was won by Dr. Anthony Seldon and Baroness BeebanKidron. The annual Summit is a reputed platform for world leaders to exchange thoughts on global issues and network with other eminent personalities.
