“ComScore measures the online behaviour of around 2 million people worldwide by installing software on their machines to route internet traffic via our proxy servers and hence are able to capture every call made by the machine. We recruit our panelists online and use a variety of different incentives (ranging from downloads and prizes to applications and software) that are advertised on over 5,000 sites worldwide in a number of languages. We then weight our panel data to ensure it is representative of the online audience in each country and release the data for the 35 countries in which we report.” Mike Shaw, Account Director, ComScore said.
