KBC goes mobile with UTV Indiagames

Mumbai: For all those waiting to experience the hot seat, to face the pressure of “computerji” and KBC4 in its “gadiyal babu” avatar, the wait seems over. As the Kaun Banega Crorepati phenomenon continues, Multi-Screen Media (MSM) and UTV Indiagames have now come together to make the game available on your mobile phone! Capturing the thrills and excitement of the Season 4 of KBC, the official game of the biggest and most popular quiz show will now soon be available at the push of a few buttons on your mobile screen. Already topping the TRP charts, the show currently running on Sony Entertainment Television, has now been replicated on the mobile with an objective of giving people a firsthand experience of winning Rs 5 crore on the famous Hot Seat!

The user can play as a character of his choice and input a name. During the game, the contestant must answer each question correctly in the given time frame and if answered incorrectly, the user will leave with the last checkpoint amount. Like the on-air version at any time, the gamer can walk away with the amount of money won. A total of 13 questions of progressive difficulty will need to be answered, by the gamer to virtually experience the triumph of winning Rs. 5 Crore!

But that’s not all. Capturing the true essence of the show, the mobile game also offers four lifelines to the users, ensuring the contestants get all required support during the course of the game. You can avail of Phone a Friend, where the user can reach out to 3 virtual friends to seek help, Audience Poll where the results of audience’s choice of answers are flashed on the screen the two new lifelines have also been included, hence contestants can choose to Call an Expert which allows you to call up any one of the four available experts or Double Dip which allows you 2 chances to answer a question correctly. This last life line is available only after the 7th question.
