JWT Mumbai has won the creative duties for Nupur following a multi agency pitch. The mehendi (henna) brand by FMCG major, Godrej Consumer Products Limited (GCPL), was being looked after by Mudra for the last four years.
Nupur is a premium henna brand which has a market value of approximately Rs. 45 crores and it is said to be growing at the rate of almost 30 per annum. The all natural henna is priced almost 100 per cent higher than the unbranded henna available but still sells really well in the Northern and Western parts of India.
GCPL , a major player in the Indian FMCG market, is also into personal, hair, household and fabric care products.
