Bangalore based Jivox, the first self-service, online video advertising platform, has announced the expansion of its India operations, spurred by significant growth in its business and expanding strategic partnerships. It has opened a sales office in Mumbai with the appointment of Vishwanath Shanbhag as General Manager – Ad Sales.
This is the company’s second sales office in India, the other one being in Delhi. Jivox’s India headquarters is based at Bangalore which houses the core sales and marketing team as well as the development team.

Mumbai in particular has seen over 400% growth in revenue in the past quarter. Jivox had recently announced that BigAdda would use Jivox’s Video Playing technology to deliver their extensive video assets to a nation-wide audience.

The company, headquartered in California, USA, had commenced its India operations in March 2008, through sales and development office in Bangalore and a sales office in Delhi.
