Jagran Engage, the Out-of-home division of the Jagran Group has recently acquired designer bus shelters to dot the Mumbai skyline. The 53 designer shelters acquired for a period of 10 years is a strategic move on the part of the company.
Speaking on the occasion Pawan Bansal – VP & Business Head, Jagran Engage said “Jagran Engage has consciously decided to invest in street furniture and other emerging media and this acquisition is a big leap in that direction. We are indeed very happy with this foray. It allows us to offer a better spread to our advertisers with our billboards, kiosks and the bus shelters..”
The bus shelters are spread across the city and cover premium locations as well as the ones that are coming up thanks to the changing business landscape in the city. The company strongly believes that advertisers can leverage the salience of the media to execute meaningful and sustainable campaigns as well as cutting edge innovative concepts. It will endeavour to work with advertisers to move away from doing just plain cut-outs and create “WOW” formats.
Out of the 53 bus shelters, 39 are already installed with the balance to come up within the next fortnight.
