Mumbai, Jan 12, 2010: The latest findings of the Indian Readership Survey (IRS – 2009 (R2) data), one of the most credible surveys in India with a sample size of 40161 in all 12+ , has re-inforced Radio City’s strong listener ship position. Radio City has emerged a clear No 2 in terms of consolidated reach of 80,88000 in its markets of operation.
Radio City has emerged as the No.2 station in key advertiser markets of Mumbai, Delhi and Bangalore. In Mumbai, Radio City 91.1 FM is at No.2 with a reach of 24,79,000 and way ahead of the No.3 station by 4,96000 listeners. In Delhi, Radio City is a clear No.2 with a reach of 26,29,000 and leads the No.3 station by a margin of 7,22,000. In Bangalore, Radio City with a reach of 10,11,000 listeners is neck to neck with the No.1 station.
Radio City continues to retain its supremacy in Lucknow with 6,45,000 listeners and is 63% ahead of the No.2 station. Radio City with its network strength in West zone has emerged a No.2 with a reach of 30,45,000 and is No.2 in the North Zone with a reach of 35,28,000 listeners.
