Kuala Lumpur : An Indian institute is keen to tie-up with a Malaysian daily “to expose students to the diversity of print media”, an official said.
A team from the Pune-based Foundation for Liberal and Management Education is here. Its visiting faculty member and resource person, Major General Raj Mehta, said: “I hope to seek an arrangement between our institution and the New Straits Times to expose our students to the diversity of print media.”
“I find that the Pre-Entry Training Scheme offered by the NST is the kind of programme that we would like our undergraduates to be a part of,” he told NST group editor Syed Nadzri Syed Harun and managing editor Nuraina Abdul Samad.
Mehta and eight undergraduates are here as part of a course based on the cultural connectivity between Malaysia, Indonesia and India, the newspaper said Thursday.
