The Fantastic Five contestants begin their journey on 6thJuly inSouth Africaand continue till 10thof July.Equipped with their mobile phones, video cameras and laptops, the Fantastic Five have one mission – discoverSouth Africathrough their eyes and showcase their unique experiences through their individual perspectives. The five travelers will visit the beautiful cities ofJohannesburg,Durban,Cape TownandPort Elizabethand the majesticKrugerNational Park, all for five days and five nights! The Fantastic Five contestants will connect with the world in real time constantly posting their blogs, uploading videos and sharing their experiences on the move; each traveler will cover the city in their way drawing from what interests them the most.

For the purpose of short-listing, the participants for Fantastic Five, the organizers had conducted online/ live auditions all over. The selection process included uploading a 1 minute travel video or a travel photo essay to showcase their travel writing skills. 20 people were short listed, out of which the best five were selected by the judges in an intense audition.

At the end of the journey, the contestant who gathers the best ratings for his travel blog, videos and who performs best in his tasks shall be chosen as the winner of FANTASTIC FIVE season I. The final gratification for the winner would be an assignment with the prestigious ‘Better Photography’ magazine, and a wild card entry into season II of Fantastic Five, coupled with some cool gadgets in store for the winner on the go.
