iCrossing Sponsors Search Marketing Event in Asia

iCrossing, a global digital marketing agency, has announced that it will be a gold sponsor at the Search Engine Marketing Professional Organization (SEMPO) Beijing event on June 12 at the WU TA SI, Temple Club. Beijing is one stop in a three-city Asian tour that SEMPO is undertaking to foster the awareness of search engine marketing and connect professionals in the region with Western markets. Other stops include Singapore on June 9 and Mumbai on June 15.

As part of the Beijing stop, Jeffrey Pruitt, iCrossing advisor and chairman of SEMPO’s board of directors, will join other search industry executives to discuss Beijing’s local market and promote the search industry in Asia through a series of seminars, press conferences and networking events.

In December 2008, iCrossing announced a partnership with China-based search engine marketing agency Beijing Gridsum Technology Co., Ltd., who is also co-sponsoring the event. Together, the agencies manage and develop international search marketing campaigns for global brands in Asian markets.

Currently, iCrossing manages search engine marketing (SEM) and search engine optimization (SEO) campaigns in 21 languages, in more than 30 markets across the Americas, EMEA and APAC. Through the partnership with Gridsum, iCrossing has access to in-country search capabilities in Asia, where the search market is expected to grow by $1.9 billion by 2011, according to iResearch.
