New Delhi: Are women in today’s India safe? Are our laws effective in dealing with crimes against women? At a time when entire India is outraged over the gangrape of a 23-year-old girl in the capital, IBN7 will carry out a nationwide survey, State of the Nation, to gauge public mood and delve deep into issues related to crimes against women.
The survey will delve into various issues such as the effectiveness of the Indian criminal justice system in dealing with crimes against women, the role of police and governance, the mindset and attitudes towards women, harassment in public spaces, and the impact of media.
Ashutosh, Managing Editor, IBN7, said, “In the aftermath of the brutal gangrape case, people are demanding stricter laws to deal with crimes against women. This survey will get to the root of the problem so that effective measures can be put in place to protect the dignity of the Indian Woman.”
The survey will be conducted in 10 cities across India. These include New Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Chennai, Lucknow, Chandigarh, Jaipur, Cochin, Ahmedabad, and Bangalore.
Don’t miss ‘State of the Nation’, at 7:30 pm from Jan 21 to Jan 25, followed by the finale at 8 pm on Jan 26, only on IBN7.
