New Delhi:As Hritik Roshan’s much awaited romantic thriller ‘Kites’ gets ready to hit theatres across the Country, the actor visited the Radio Mirchi 98.3 FM studios in Delhi to talk about his forthcoming movie and tell the listeners how eternal love transcends all barriers across castes, cultures and countries.
Trust Radio Mirchi to have their own fun contests; this one invited listeners to share their experiences of how they communicated with their lovers during their courtship days and continue to communicate with their partners….. Did they throw stones wrapped in a love letter on the lover’s window? Did they pass on a message through a friend? Did they use the quintessential ‘Ishaaras’ like old Bollywood films? Or did they communicate through a code language to express their feeling.
The contest received an overwhelming response with entries floating from all across the city. From code languages, to sending letters as pen-friends, from love notes through best to special isharas, Radio Mirchi listeners had done it all…….but the excitement does not end here.
Those extraordinary ways of expressing love were applauded by the Greek god of the movie Kites – Hrithik Roshan himself on India’s Hottest Radio Station, Radio Mirchi 98.3 FM.
Yatish Mehrishi, Cluster Head and Station Director said, ‘Our listeners are our priority. We organise these contests as an effort to help bring bollywood closer to Delhites. Giving our listeners an opportunity to meet their favourite stars is an initiative of living up to our promise of Mirchi Sunne Wale Always Khush. Be it the best of music or stars…you can find it all exclusively on Mirchi.”
Living up to its promise of providing latest and hottest tracks on air, Radio Mirchi listeners were also treated to the music of the film which was recently released at an exclusive music premier in the Radio Mirchi studios in Mumbai by the star himself and Rajesh Roshan, all throughout the day.
All an all, everybody at the studios was awed by the superstars’ presence and enjoyed the morning thoroughly.
