Homeshop18 adds modern-traditional flavours to its new campaign curry !
New Delhi: India’s leading ecommerce portal homeshop18 today launched its new TV commercial. Titled “India Shops Online at HomeShop18.com”, the TV campaign is riding on the ecommerce company’s huge success. HomeShop18.com’s new commercial has been produced by Cell18 under the Direction of Zubin Driver.
Announcing the new TV commercial launch, the company shared some key statistics about its growth: 300% growth in traffic over the past 12 months, six-fold growth in the online shopping revenues and nearly 30% repeat customer base.
In creating the commercial, the brand has taken care to introduce the modern within the context of the traditional and captures the rich blend observed in every household. The commercial also captures the instant nature of shopping which ecommerce ensures and it adequately reflects the growing stature of homeshop18.com into the category leader.
Commenting on the commercial, Sundeep Malhotra, CEO HomeShop18 said that “This commercial is reflective of our deep focus on the ecommerce domain and is meant to accelerate the growth of the ecommerce category and of homeshop18.com as a consequence, being the clear leader. The TV Commercial is the first in a series and has been produced in a 30 second format with 15 second versions to follow. It is learnt that there will be more TV commercials to follow under the “India Shops Online at HomeShop18.com” theme.
The company has recently been in news for having acquired a books etailer called ‘coinjoos.com” and also for raising funds worth Rs. 100 crore. It is learnt that the company is heavily investing in technology and brand to drive revenues substantially higher.
