Hindustan Unilever launches `Pureit'

Hindustan Unilever Limited has launched Pureit, the world’s most advanced in-home water purification system .

‘Pureit’ provides 100% protection from all water-borne diseases like jaundice, diarrhoea, cholera and typhoid. Pureit runs with a unique GermKill Battery Kit that kills / removes all harmful viruses, bacteria, parasites and pesticide impurities to give drinking water that is ‘as safe as boiled water’. It provides this protection without the hassles of boiling, and without needing electricity or continuous tap water supply. Thereby, making it the most advanced in-home water purifier in the world.

Pureit’s performance has been tested by leading international & national medical, scientific & public health institutions. Not just that, Pureit meets the germkill criteria of the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), the toughest drinking water regulatory agency in the USA.

Pureit comes at a one-time cost of just Rs.1800! The GermKill Battery Kit typically lasts for about 1500 litres. The replacement of the GermKill Battery Kit is priced at Rs. 300.
