A 2-day conclave – an initiative of Radio Duniya that addressed a range of issues impacting the growth and progress of the burgeoning radio industry through discussions and deliberations, ended on an exciting note with the announcement of awards recognizing excellence on radio for the year 2007.
The Intercontinental, Grand in New Delhi, on the 11th and 12th February, saw a confluence of an illustrious group of people representing a wide spectrum of the radio industry viz. policy makers, broadcasters, advertisers and media professionals. A 2-day conclave – an initiative of Radio Duniya (India’s only magazine exclusively devoted to radio) that addressed a range of issues impacting the growth and progress of the burgeoning radio industry through discussions and deliberations, ended on an exciting note with the announcement of awards recognizing excellence on radio for the year 2007.
Amongst the many categories, the most prestigious ‘The Best Signature Track of a Radio Station’ was awarded to Hello FM 106.4. The jury consisting of eminent luminaries assessed the many entries on the basis of originality of idea; execution of the production; reflection of the Station’s values and above all, the musical ingenuity of the track.
Receiving the award from Ms. Zohra Chatterji, Joint Secretary, Broadcasting, Ministry of Information & Broadcasting, Government of India, Ramesh SK – Head of Content for Hello FM 106.4 observed that “This only reaffirms the Brand’s faith in the pride and power of Tamil ethos as the Signature Track is a soulful expression of the soil, and nobody understands this better than us”.
