Good Relations India wins Get Through Guides account

Good Relations India (GRI), the pan-India strategic corporate communications consultancy, has recently won the account of Get Through Guides, an organization which provides professional education in finance, management, and accounting. GTG, a global publishing and training company, is the only organization in India to be Gold Certified by the ACCA, the world’s largest accounting body. Their clients include Ernst & Young, Grant Thornton, Shell, Genpact, KPIT Cummins and Singhi and Co in India, KPMG in Europe as well as a host of colleges and bookshops across all five major continents (North America, South America, Africa, Europe, Russia, Asia). In addition, GTG works closely with many institutes and has delivered IFRS training for ICAI and other Institutes. GRI will be responsible for Get Through Guides media visibility and communication initiatives across India.

Speaking on the association with GTG, Deepak Kanulkar, Chief Operating Officer, Good Relations India said, “It is a pleasure to announce that we have won the communications mandate of Get Through Guides. As India moves towards International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) in 2011, the GTG communication mandate is going to be a stimulating account to handle. GRI would be helping ensure the business objectives are matched by strategically executing communication initiatives to meet the organization’s communication goals. We find it exciting to work in new sectors such as IFRS training and expanding our horizons to help GTG achieve optimum results. GTG is already known in the industry as being leading IFRS trainers and publishers.”

Sharing her thoughts on the partnership, Vandana Saxena-Poria, Chief Executive Officer, Get Through Guides said, “As India moves towards IFRS and accepts the new skills needed in its finance and accounting staff, it is imperative that GTG constantly communicates with our stakeholders to update them about how the new changes can help their organization and ways to implement the new changes into their systems and processes. We found Good Relations India to be the perfect partner for us to achieve our business goals through their understanding of our industry and ability to align our business goals into communication objectives. We believe in this partnership and trust that together we would be able to achieve our goals.”
