The Supreme Court,SC, today struck down the Section 66A of the Information and Technology Act, calling it unconstitutional and untenable.

The court added that it interferes with freedom of speech and expression. Section 66A gives the police power to arrest a person for posting offensive content online and provides for a three-year jail term.
