This year marks the 60th Anniversary of India’s Independence. In commemoration, Elephant Advertising coordinated the participation of its numerous clients (DIRECTV, Jet Airways, Air France, Indus American Bank, Shaadi.com, MCHI, The Indian Express, and Divya Bhaskar) at celebratory festivals across the country during the past two weekends in New Jersey, New York, Los Angeles, San Jose, Dallas, Atlanta, and Chicago.
The parade in New York, which is organized by The Federation of Indian Associations (FIA) in the Tri-State area, reported a record crowd of 100,000 attendees waving the Indian flag and partaking in the festivities. This year also marks another milestone as it was the first time in FIA history a female president, Ms. Shobhana Patel, presided over the organization and the parade.
Commenting on the role of Elephant Advertising, Ms. Patel stated, “Elephant Advertising has been the biggest supporter of FIA’s annual parade in New York City this year.
