Shanghai :Draftfcb has announced the appointment of Eddie Wong as national executive creative director for Draftfcb China, effective immediately. Wong joins Draftfcb as it restructures and strengthens its creative department to ensure there is the right balance of integrated skills to support local and international clients in the market, and to further uplift the agency’s creative standards.

Wong has been in the ad industry for more than 25 years, working in Singapore, Taiwan, Hong Kong and China for respected agencies such as Batey, Leo Burnett, D’Arcy, Euro RSCG and most recently TBWAChina where he was group executive creative director. His extensive portfolio includes Coke, Adidas, Pernod Ricard, Mars Confectionery/Petfood, Standard Chartered Bank, and McDonald’s, among others.

He has also judged at major International and Regional Award shows, which include CLIOs, London International Advertising Awards, New York Festivals, Asia Pacific Advertising Festival, Long Xi International Chinese Advertising Awards, China 4A Golden Seal Awards, China National Advertising Festival.
