Dentsu Creative Impact wins Grand Prix at REMMY Awards 2012

Mumbai: Dentsu Creative Impact, the youngest of Dentsu India’s full service advertising agencies swept away the highest honours at the Finale of the REMMY (Recruitment Marketing) Awards 2012 held in Mumbai on March 15, 2012. Dentsu Creative Impact’s work for the Indian Navy won Best in Service Category, Best Headline, Campaign of the Year and the Grand Prix at the Remmy Awards 2012. Instituted by The Times Group, the REMMY Awards honours excellence in recruitment advertising in the print media.

The Image Projection Campaign FY 2011-12 for Indian Navy was launched by Dentsu Creative Impact to create higher levels of awareness and enhance the appeal for Indian Navy amongst the youth, in order to boost the quality of enlistments. Dentsu Creative Impact had been involved in the Planning, Creation and Execution of the campaign. The 360 degrees communication strategy was basis the consumer and competitive understanding which was strengthened through primary and secondary research by Dentsu Creative Impact.

A fresh new approach in terms of the look and feel of a recruitment campaign was used in order to make it clutter breaking, catchy and at the same time making it motivational and relevant. Print has been used as the lead medium and the campaign has been very impactful and was well received by the audience. The Dentsu Creative Impact team working on the award-winning Indian Navy campaign include Harish Arora, Manavjit Mohil, Devdas Nair, Jerin George and Daljeet Singh in creative, Amit Wadhwa and Kirat Grewal on account management and Kartikeya Srivastava and Sai Karthik on planning.

The Remmy Awards 2012, an initiative by Times Ascent to honour advertising campaigns in the recruitment industry, were held on March 15 at the Hyatt Regency at Mumbai. The Jury for REMMY Awards 2012 who reviewed more than 250 entries comprised Rajesh Kejriwal, Editorial Chief Editor and Publisher, Kyoorius Exchange, Priti Nair, Founder, Curry Nation, Vikram Gaikwad, Partner and ECD, Creative Land Asia, Madhavi Lall, Regional Head-HR, India and South Asia, Standard Chartered Bank, Rahul Ghatak, Director-HR, Capita India Pvt. Ltd and Rahul Taneja, Senior Vice President and Head – Corporate Human Resources, Essar Investments Ltd.
