Dentsu Aegis Network goes social !

As a commitment to corporate social responsibility programme, Dentsu Aegis Network celebrated - ‘One Day for Change’ across offices in Mumbai, New Delhi, Bangalore and Chennai on Friday.

The objective of this initiative was to positively impact the communities and bring a smile on their face.Approximately 1200 employees from Dentsu Aegis Network offices across India spent their day visiting child welfare homes,ashrams, old age homes to fill some happiness in these individual’s lives.

Dentsu Aegis Network - Mumbai, in association with the NGO - Kindness Unlimited, distributed raincoats, ponchos and chocolates to various communities right from traffic policemen to dabbawalas to hawkers, workers and labourers. Dentsu Aegis Network - New Delhi employees visited Ananda Ashram (Home for Mentally and Physically challenged orphanage boys)whereas Dentsu Aegis Network - Gurgaon team visited the Aravali Biodiversity Park Gurgaon and conducted a cleaning and plantation drive. Similarly Dentsu Aegis Network - Bangalore visited two homes for children - VRR Surabhi Children Home &S urabhiVasathe Shale, shared a meal with them and conducted a plantation drive in their premises whereas Dentsu Aegis Network - Chennai employees visited Vishranthi Old Age Home, provided lunch and spread happiness among the individuals.

Commenting on the same, Ashish Bhasin, Chairman & CEO, South Asia, Dentsu Aegis Network said, “It is always good to share and give back to the society. At Dentsu Aegis Network, it is our initiative to encourage all employees to give one day of their time to support a cause or charity. The same has been well received by the Dentsu Aegis Network family. Be it, appreciating the hard work of people in Mumbai or spreading cheer at old age homes and ashrams in other locations, every Dentsu Aegis Network champion has made a huge effort to execute this initiative. ”
