Dainik Bhaskar group has announced a llarge scale young-reader-engagement programme ‘Junior Editor – 2011’. The media group aims to double the connect level to 100,000+ participants / members in coming months with roll-out of Junior Editor-2011. This will see be the Largest manual newspaper making competition across the nation” a unique experience for the participants in making the largest collection of manual newspapers by students from class 1st to 12th .
The participants follow a given template with multiple space for creativity in columns like ‘Cartoon & Caricature” and ‘Ad Mad – Creativity at its best’. The bulk of the manual newspapaer will be devoted to their detailed observations and comments in form of News and Articles,
The whole idea is to lead the students in the direction of their interest, in a progressive manner.
Bhaskar Champs in recent time has concluded two major activities. ‘Bhaskar Champs Scrapbook ‘ more than 15,000 kids participated across 19 cities. The 9 winners recived award by Mr. Aamir Khan. JUNIOR PICASSO(A National Level Painting Competition) with participation from 22,000 students from 6 states and 30 cities.
Ambika Soni (Union Minister- Information & Broadcasting) presnted their awards at a gala function in Delhi.
