Dabur India Limited has announced the launch of a mega singing & talent hunt contest in Punjab. Christened ‘Dabur Vatika Koyal Punjab Di’, the contest will seek to identify the new female singing sensation of Punjab.
“Dabur’s in-depth knowledge about nature and natural ingredients has helped us create a range of natural hair care products that offer the goodness of nature without any side effects. Chemical-based products are known to damage your hair but the Vatika range of products — with its herbal heritage — is packed the goodness of nature to give you problem-free hair. We are now taking this natural association to the next level with the launch of this talent hunt that seeks to identify the naturally melodious voice of Punjab, a voice that also embodies the core natural values of Vatika,” said Dabur India Ltd Brand Manager Mr. Girish Pai.
The Dabur Vatika Koyal Punjab Di contest is Dabur’s initiative to connect better with our consumers and seek to empower the young women of Punjab by offering them a chance to showcase their talent on a bigger scale. Dabur Vatika Koyal Punjab Di contest would be held across the top five cities across Punjab – Ludhiana, Chandigarh, Amritsar, Patiala and Jalandhar. “The contest is open only for girls in Punjab and the five finalists from these five cities will come together for the Grand Finale that will be held in Chandigarh on September 28th, 2008. The winner will get a once-in-a-lifetime chance to become the on-air singing sensation on a popular private FM radio station,” Mr. Pai added.
Dabur India also announced the launch of its range of Vatika conditioners. Promising the same nutrient value as other Vatika hair care products, Vatika conditioners come in two variants – Vatika Smooth & Silky Conditioner and Vatika Root Strengthening Conditioner. “The Vatika range of conditioners is packed with the natural goodness of Henna, Amla, Green Almonds & Coconut Milk that nourish your scalp and hair and ensure that there’s no such thing as a ‘bad hair day’,” he added. The Vatika Conditioners are available in two SKUs: 100ml for Rs 55 and 200ml for Rs 100.
With this, Vatika has become the only brand in India to offer hair care solutions for every Indians pre-wash, wash and post-wash needs. The Vatika portfolio today includes Vatika Enriched Coconut Hair Oil, four variants of Vatika shampoos and, now, two variants of Vatika conditioners. Dabur has enriched its coconut hair oil with herbs and other natural ingredients like soya extracts, lemon oil and rosemary oil that make it superior to other coconut hair oil brands available in the market. Vatika Enriched Coconut Hair Oil makes hair stronger, thicker and shinier than normal coconut oil, and also has better dandruff control properties over normal coconut oil. These benefits have been proven through both scientific tests and consumer research. Riding on its natural heritage, Vatika is today the fastest selling shampoo brand in the country, growing ahead of international brands available in the market.
The Vatika range is endorsed by popular actress Genelia D’Souza of Jaane Tu… Ya Jaane Na fame.
