Tokyo: comScore, Inc. has announced the appointment of Daizo Nishitani as vice president of sales for Japan. Mr. Nishitani will be responsible for new business development and expanding sales of comScore products and services throughout Japan and will be based in comScore’s Tokyo office. Mr. Nishitani brings to comScore more than 10 years of experience in the digital media industry with extensive experience forging successful relationships with leading global advertisers.
Most recently, Mr. Nishitani served as senior account director at Viacom Brand Solutions International K.K. where he was responsible for advertising sales activities for the company’s major media outlets including MTV, VHI and Nickelodeon. Prior to Viacom, Mr. Nishitani served as manager with Walt Disney Television International (Japan), where he developed and managed relationships with key advertisers for Disney’s programming including Tomy, Takara, Honda, McDonald’s and Coca Cola. Mr. Nishitani began his career in the media and marketing sectors, serving as media coordinator at Dentsu Inc., where he was responsible for advertising sales among major international cable and satellite television networks.

Mr. Nishitani holds a BA in Law from Rikkyo University in Tokyo and is a fluent speaker of both Japanese and English.
