Mumbai: Radio City 91.1FM, Namma Bengalurina’s favourite radio station known for its music and innovative content, is all set to redefine fun and entertainment with their evening show, City Maathu. For the first time ever, Bangalore will be thoroughly entertained by a show, hosted by the popular RJ Vinayak and the new co-jock, Sandalwood’s most popular comedy star Komal. Listeners can catch this hilarious duo on-air every evening from 6 pm – 8 pm, starting 14th December 2009.
City Maathu will spell fun all the way with pranks, parodies and rib tickling banter between Komal and RJ Vinayak, who share great chemistry, all this accompanied by lively, melodious music. Komal and RJ V with their parody on popular Kannada songs will have the listeners in splits. And that’s not all, towards the end of the show; Bengalurians can treat themselves to a daily dose of ‘Joke of the day’. The duo who starred together in the Kannada movie Kurigalu Saar Kurigalu, Meravanige will extend their on screen magic on radio.
The versatile RJ Vinayak has been a part of the Kannada film industry with 33 movies to his credit. Komal, the brother of popular Kannada Comedian Jaggesh, who has acted in numerous Kannada movies such as Sangama, Chellata, Aishwarya, Gaja and much more. Besides being popular, Komal is easily the most-liked, most-entertaining and highest paid comedian in Sandalwood.
