CNN Invites audience to share Uniquely India

CNN has invited its global viewers to paint their picture of India’s rich and diverse culture by sending videos and photos of everything that is ‘Uniquely India’. The special iReport assignment focuses on the world’s largest democracy to coincide with ‘Eye on India’, CNN’s week of in-depth business coverage live from Mumbai, and around the country.

CNN welcomes viewers to share their perspective on the unique traditional, economic, social, culinary or any other element that symbolizes daily life in India. CNN iReport, the network’s user-generated news community is asking viewers to either upload a one-minute video or submit photos online at http://CNNiReport.com/eyeonindia from March 01 to March 25, 2011. Selected submissions will be featured online on CNN.com and will also air on CNN International during the ‘Eye on India’ week of special programming from March 14 reaching out to more than 275 million households in over 200 countries and territories worldwide.

‘Eye on India’ features business specialist Andrew Stevens and the network’s India correspondents bringing global viewers a week of in-depth business coverage live from Mumbai and around the country.
