CNN is being watched and talked about more than ever. Over the past year, the network has invested heavily in news operations around the world as part of its commitment to producing premium news content for its audiences across CNN’s many platforms and services. The CNN Digital Network generated nearly 20 billion page views in 2008, making it the year’s No. 1 news and information site, while CNN.com served nearly 1.5 billion video streams. And online growth and recognition continues, as shown by the inaugural ranking of top social brands for 2008 by media marketing innovator Vitrue, The The Vitrue 100, where CNN was ranked second of all brands.
