Chhavi Leekha gets Brand Builder of the Year’ Award

Chhavi-Leekha-_indira_awardNew Delhi: Spice Global, a US$ 2 billion diversified conglomerate, today announced that Ms Chhavi Leekha, Group President (Brand and Corporate Communications), has been conferred ‘Brand Builder of The Year’ award at the Indira Marketing Excellence Award hosted by CMO Asia in Pune. Ms. Leekha was honored for her outstanding contribution in brand management, brand leadership and innovation. The awards were decided by an independent organization called Fun and Joy at Work.

The award ceremony was attended by business leaders, CEOs and experts in the field of advertising and marketing. The ceremony showcased India’s best talent in marketing, branding, creativity, advertising and communication.

Ms. Chhavi Leekha said, “It is indeed a pleasure to be honored with such a prestigious award and I am grateful to Spice Global for playing a pivotal role in this achievement. Such awards have become a trendsetter in the field of marketing excellence where the best of the brands and individuals behind them are awarded for their feats.”

The theme for this year was ‘Sustainable Brands’. Over the past 12 years, the Indira Marketing Excellence Awards have felicitated the best performers in the corporate world in marketing and advertising. The awards aim at recognising professionals who have excelled in the field of brand building by setting new trends and making a difference to their organisations.

Out of the total 28 awards, there were four individual category awards – Brand Builder of the Year, Marcomm Professional of the Year, Women Achiever of the Year and My CEO of the Year.  The other notable awardees this year were HDFC, Castrol, Fed Ex, Max Life, TATA group companies etc.
