Carat Asia-Pacific had a very strong new business finish to 2008, winning more new business than any other media agency across Asia Pacific. This included the individual markets of China, Hong Kong and Malaysia, according to the December report from agency selection consultancy R3.
Last year, Carat picked up planning and buying duties for Beiersdorf/Cbons, Kraft and Amway in China. Carat Malaysia was appointed by Bank Negara and AirAsia. And Hong Kong claimed the global business for Peninsula Group and Korean Air. Carat also beat off stiff competition to retain the coveted Tourism Australia account globally.
