Mumbai: Carat Fresh Integrated has launched its Rural Marketing operation with industry veteran, Keshav Chandorkar, as National Head- Rural Marketing. Prior to this appointment Keshav was National Manager Rural Marketing, Dun & Bradstreet and before that was at Linterland for nearly a decade. Along with Keshav, an experienced team of rural professionals are joining Carat Fresh Integrated to set up India’s first new age Rural Marketing operation.
Commenting on this development, Ashish Bhasin, Chairman India and CEO South East Asia, Aegis Media, said, “Rural Marketing, in a country like India, is probably the most important aspect for several marketers but is often ignored due to the lack of knowledgeable and professional agencies. Having worked on several rural brands myself, including the launch of Wheel by HUL, and having established Linterland from scratch, my learning is that Rural Marketing has an almost endless potential for our clients, particularly when Urban markets are slowing down. I am pleased that Carat Fresh Integrated have launched their Rural Marketing operation with Keshav Chandorkar, an industry veteran in rural operations, as their National Head-Rural Marketing. I am sure, under Sampath’s guidance, Keshav will make Carat Fresh Integrated’s Rural Marketing operation a market leader in no time.”
Sampath Shenoy, Vice-President Carat Fresh Integrated, said “With Keshav, we have a seasoned media professional with huge experience in the Rural sector. His experience will help us in further strengthening our rural operations and in expanding our reach”.
Keshav has joined Carat Fresh Integrated with a skilled team. On his decision to join Carat Fresh Integrated, Keshav says, “I wish to explore all growth possibilities and aspire to expand our presence to make it stronger in the years to come.” A keen planner, strategist and implementer with deftness in devising and implementing rural strategies, Keshav aims at ensuring successful running and management of rural campaigns.
