Mumbai: Last weekend was undoubtedly special for Mumbai, it not only witnessed some unique style by some unusual ramp walkers but made sure spectators and beneficiaries walk away with a big smile. 2nd October saw the most exciting show held in India by the Toofles Foundation, The Style for Smiles fashion show. Toofles Foundation is a trust that does fund raising for a variety of NGOs working at the grass root level in various fields such as education, health, environment care for the destitute and more.
The Style for Smiles fashion show was part of the Joy of Giving Week celebrated across India from September 27 to October 3, 2010. The fashion show, organized by Toofles Foundation, was an effort organized by Corporate India in the betterment and development of the underprivileged in India.
The fashion show which was held at the Taj Mumbai showcased around 50 CEOs graciously obliged to walk the ramp on that very night. The corporates flaunted designer wear by some of India’s biggest names in the fashion industry, such as Anamika Khanna, Narendra Kumar Ahmed, Wendell Rodricks to name a few. Mark Robinson choreographed the entire show
BIG Live – Events managed the event right from planning to execution.
