Big Live launches BIG Gujarati Entertainment Awards

BIG Live is now widening its umbrella to felicitate the entire entertainment industry for the Gujarati region through its offering with the BIG Gujarati Entertainment Awards 2010. The entertainment awards are the first ever and pioneering initiative to recognize and celebrate outstanding talent across the film, television and music industries of both regions.

The Entertainment Awards will felicitate and acknowledge the contribution of entertainers ranging stalwarts of yester-years from the entertainment industry to the latest sensations across the platforms of films, television and music.

Co-inciding with Gujarat’s 50th anniversary celebration year, BIG Gujarati Entertainment Awards 2010 takes audiences on a journey from golden yester years to the today’s latest music & Actors. In Gujarat, the property will cover the cities of Rajkot, Ahmedabad, Baroda & Surat. The grand finale, will witness a gala Awards Night graced by stalwarts from the Gujarati Music & Entertainment industry the likes of Asha Parekhji, Sharman Joshi, Arvind Joshi, Naresh Kanodia, Mansi Joshi Roy, Rohit Roy, Darshan Jariwala, Apara Mehta, Tiku Talsania and others and the entire show will be aired on ETV Gujarati as a special offering. There will be special performances by Naresh Kanodia, Ragini Shah, Hiten Kumar, Hitu Kanodia, Mona Thiba, Aishwarya Mazumdar, Parthiv Gohil, Sairam Dave, Nishith Mehta and others.

Marketed by BIG Live, the property will be amplified on Reliance Broadcast Network’s very strong regional and local radio platform of – 92.7 BIG FM which will showcase interesting innovations ranging celeb interviews, entertainment capsules and more.
