Big FM launches hunt for comic talent in UP

big_fm_pic_logoKanpur: BIG FM is  now on the quest to handpick the best and the funniest from Uttar Pradesh! India’s largest FM network 92.7 BIG FM and Hajmola present a campaign to honour stand-up comedy talent across UP with a property titled Hajmola Chatpata No.1.

The rollicking journey begins this September when 92.7 BIG FM along with Hajmola will scout across 80 towns in Uttar Pradesh to handpick the best who can tickle your funny bone. Starting 27th September, the audition booths will travel across cities like Allahabad, Meerut, Muzaffarnagar and Bareilly  registering people and showcasing their best in comedy. Going by the success of previous on ground initiatives hosted like Close-up Antakshari, BIG Disha  , participants are expected to throng the booths. A stringent scanning process will be followed, to select the top 10 finalists who will compete at the grand finale in Kanpur in November.

This month long campaign will be supported by RJs from 92.7 BIG FM’s radio stations across Uttar Pradesh which include Agra, Aligarh, Bareilly, Jhansi, Kanpur and Allahabad stations. The finale will witness comedians from Bollywood as judges who will help select the one to be crowned Hajmola Chatpata Number 1. The winner also has a Golden chance to meet Bollywood Superstar Ajay Devgn.
