BIG 92.7 FM has conceptualized a campaign that will ensure at least its listeners get a chance to get tough on recession.
The campaign ‘Ek Saal Free Maal’, which will run in the 6 metro cities of India and will be on for a period of 2 weeks starting 8 December, 2008, shall use the strap line – ‘Recession ki lenge….aur sab ko denge’ . A combination of on and off-air events, the campaign is essentially a MUSIC QUIZ, aimed at testing the knowledge of BIG FM listeners about singers, lyricists and music directors. The format is simple with two contestants answering the quiz to win a BIG Ticket. What is exciting is that the quiz master will be a celebrity and the questions will be based only on the music played at that station. The quiz will be played in the morning and evening prime times and winners will be declared every day.
The BIG Ticket shall entitle winners to an annual free supply of – fuel, grocery , apparels, DTH connection + rental, mobile phone and talktime, fitness and beauty vouchers, beverages and much more. While normally, two winners will be announced each day, the ‘NEW YEAR DHAMAKA’ on 31st Dec, will see listeners winning BIG Ticket every hour!
