Kanpur: The radio arm of Reliance Broadcast Network Ltd, 92.7 BIG FM, India’s No.1 FM Station, Kanpur has completed three years of successful operation in the city, in which it has undertaken some great historic campaigns and redefined the meaning of radio and its reach. The network which already marks its presence in 45 cities across India started its journey in 2007.
92.7 BIG FM’s 3rd anniversary was just the right time to thank listeners for their invaluable support. Celebrations of the day rotated around the theme, ‘BIG is Kanpur and Kanpur is BIG’. Listeners of BIG FM were given royal ‘Bagghi Ride’ which passed through the prominent areas of the city. BIG RJ accompanied the listeners and also hosted live show from the streets of Kanpur.
On-ground celebrations were culminated with RJ going on-air in a true sense. To give a feel to listeners how big is Kanpur; RJ Purab in association with Garg Aviation took a flight and spotted various locations of Kanpur. RJ Purab raised the concern to keep River Ganges clean and shared the beautiful aerial view of the city with listeners.
The Station, which lives its brand-line, Suno Sunao, Life Banao in everything that it does, has over the past three-years, undertaken activities that have really impacted listener lives positively. Over the last three year, 92.7 BIG FM has crossed many milestones and has won many accolades. The journey so far has been blissful with the kind of support which has been ushered by the listeners of this city. The year witnessed various innovative campaigns being run by the station including the record making RJ Marathon, Dariya Dili, BIG Rahat, World Environment Day and many other special day celebrations.
