New Delhi, November 11, 2013: Come Children’s Day this year, 92.7 Big FM’s Delhi station’s listeners are set to have a delightful time with kids taking over the radio station! From RJ-ing, to writing and dubbing, kids upto 14 years of age will be operating the radio station as a part of an exclusive campaign called ‘Birla Sun Life Not Jobs But Passion’ run by the radio channel.
This special campaign that was initiated with a view to encourage parents to let their children discover and pursue their passion was launched on-air on 7th November and will culminate on Children’s Day.
92.7 BIG FM has already started inviting parents to give their children a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to spend a day with experts of radio to understand if they display talent or natural inclination towards work at a studio.
Starting November 7th, radio jockeys have already started encouraging parents to promote the love of learning and exploration by registering their kids for the program. Depending on their interest, a station’s Programming Head, Copywriter, Radio Jockey and Voice-over Artist will train shortlisted children and give them a chance to run the station with the 92.7 BIG FM team on November 14.
Listeners of 92.7 BIG FM will get an opportunity to enjoy the work of children and listen to them as they share their experience about the training they receive in the respective fields. Focusing on the fact that parents are the first doorway into the world of learning, and encouraging enthusiastic curiosity among children, the campaign aims to provide an enriching experience to both parents and children by fuelling emotional, social and intellectual needs in children.
