Mumbai:92.7 BIG FM will celebrate India’s 65th Republic day this year with great patriotic fervor! To bring alive the spirit of this day, 92.7 BIG FM is introducing special shows and campaigns across different geographies for its listeners.
The network has always brought out some of the most intriguing shows that are not only entertaining but also give out strong social messages. This year is no exception as the network introduces an anti-bribe campaign, a radio show, a road safety campaign and a patriotic singing contest in different cities across the nation.
92.7 BIG FM pays tribute to India’s rich culture in its new show ‘Bharat Ka Bioscope’ throwing light on the country’s ups and downs, its distinctive portrayal in Indian cinema and its reception from Indian audiences. Host Raghubir Yadav will discuss how challenges faced by society have been creatively and sensitively handled by the film fraternity through strong scripts, songs, dances and a host of gifted protagonists. The show will air across Hindi speaking regions. Additionally, the station also airs ‘Bharat Ki Jhaankiyan’ which is a radio parade showcasing the culture and heritage of all the states in India. Bharat Ki Jhaankiyan airs every day until Republic Day and encapsulates 5 states per day.
Down south, 92.7 BIG FM Bangalore presents ‘Namma Hakka Guru’ (Know your right guru!) that brings to light and makes listeners aware of their Constitutional Rights with the help of the popular interstitials. Apart from this the station has also tied up with ‘I Paid a Bribe’ – a special campaign for Republic day. 92.7 BIG FM is appealing listeners on air to come and pledge along with the RJs not to pay bribes and to know their right for the same. Additionally, 92.7 BIG FM Chennai is celebrating a road safety week in the week leading up to Republic Day. In Central India, the radio station is conducting BIG Hindustani, a patriotic singing talent hunt among its listeners.
As part of its On-Ground activities, 92.7 BIG FM’s radio jockeys will attend the Republic Day parade at Manekshaw Grounds in Delhi and go LIVE from 16th – 26th January, 2014 at the Lal Bagh Flower Show in Bangalore to amplify the Republic Day festivities.
