BIG 92.7 FM has announced special programming on the eve of Christmas to ensure listeners celebrate the season with much fun and frolic.
BIG 92.7 FM’s Mumbai Station offers listeners ‘Santa ki Class’ – sharing tips on gifting this festive season. RJ’s will be heard interviewing celebrities on what they would like to gift their loved ones along with interviews with authorities on what they would like to gift the city of Mumbai this Christmas. In addition, singer Shibani Kashyup will also play the ‘BIG Santa’, where she will croon her latest song exclusively created to spread peace and harmony in the recently terror struck city, for the listeners of BIG FM on the breakfast show with RJ Archana Jani.
BIG FM Delhi is inviting special guests this Christmas eve – Junior Santas from Udayan Care Orphanage. The Santas will come to spread the message of peace & happiness and also gives a special treat – an exclusive tête-à-tête with ‘Bandish’ band members. The kids along with ‘Bandish’ band members will be seen grooving with RJ Jiah on the breakfast show on December 24th.
Sprucing up the festival, BIG FM Bangalore is all set to be naughty this Christmas, with the BIG Santa rewarding people who are naughty this Christmas. In an innovative contest, llisteners will be given a real life situation with 2 options-both naughty. The listener will have to choose any one & justify. Based on the response, Santa will decide on the gift. In addition, the Station in association with Deccan Chronicle is promoting the ‘Be My Santa’ campaign, where citizens of Bangalore can come forward to donate clothes, toys and books to the underprivileged and get discounts in return. These items are being collected across various partner locations in the city and properly scrutinized and cleaned before handing them over to the Indian Confederation of NGO’s who will ensure it reaches the needy.
BIG FM’s Chennai Station is treating listeners with a Christmas party – filled with fun, frolic and most importantly a meeting with their very favorite RJ BIG Dheena. Innovative on air contests are being hosted, winners of which will get to be part of the select Christmas bash!
BIG FM’s Kolkata Station bringing in the true spirit of Christmas, which in Bengali is known as “Bada Din” meaning BIG Day, will be captured on BIG 92.7 FM across the day with nostalgia, fun and music, celebrating the ‘moja’ of Christmas. The breakfast show ‘BIG Chumuk’ will have RJ Kaushik trying out Why Santa is actually a Bengali by origin! This will be followed with Christmas carols across the day. Apart from that there will be Santa jokes every hour for the listeners. BIG 92.7 FM will also celebrate the Christmas Eve with a gala Celebration at the South City Mall where BIG RJs Kaushik & Neel will be present to enthrall the audience with games & Christmas cakes along with Santa Claus & Tollywood Celebs.
BIG FM Hyderabad, as part of its ongoing ‘Airtel Musical December’, will host music directors and singers in the studio as they enjoy themselves over a game of Antakshari. As part of this, they will also sing Christmas carols on air, while giving away gifts to the needy.
BIG FM Kanpur will join hands with ‘Hindustan’ for ‘Bachpan’ – an initiative for underprivileged children, in which BIG FM team will collect toys and warm clothes from the people of the city and distribute the same to the needy. Besides this to add zing to the festive season, a singing competition is also being hosted.
BIG FM Allahabad will run a signature campaign, in which people will be requested to write their peace message on various graffiti walls being set up by BIG 92.7 FM across the city. The messages will be sent to the Prime Minister’s Office on behalf of BIG FM.
BIG FM Indore will be organising a Musical concert by famous rock band – M2 Mafia in a leading entertainment Mall, this will be clubbed with a BIG Christmas party.
In BIG FM Gwalior, Santa Claus will become the RJ for a day. The five-day long activity will have people of Gwalior participating in an on-air contest to win a chance to meet their favourite RJ Santa Claus.
