Bhaskar Launches ‘Think Negative’ contest

Bhaskar Group, the largest read newspaper group in India has announced the launch of ‘Think Negative’ contest for advertising agencies. ‘Think Negative’, contest encourages advertising agencies to submit creative and appealing ideas to communicate actionable facts about AIDS, which could change perceptions or prevent its spread. The winning idea will be published in all editions of Dainik Bhaskar in December.

Think Negative’ contest was started in 2006 to admonish common myths and propagate facts about AIDS in India .Bhaskar Group intends to get the best possible communication from motivated advertising agencies urging people to fight against AIDS. The last two year winners will again be released on Dec 1, the world Aids day.

This contest is yet another reflection of Dainik Bhaskar’s innate philosophy of ‘Zidd Karo, Duniya Badlo’ as Dainik Bhaskar hopes to bring about changes in the way AIDS is perceived in India and proactive ness to combat with the disease. With every Indian becoming more cautious about the potential causes and risks associated with the disease, Bhaskar group makes an effort to make India a healthier and AIDS-free nation.

The last date for advertising agencies to submit their entries along with creative ads is November 28, 2008. This year the entries are being received in both Hindi and English, as DNA joins hands with Bhaskar Group for this contest.
