Bhaskar Group, India’s largest read newspaper group, has announced the appointment of Namita Bawa as head, product development. She will be based in Bhaskar Group’s Delhi office and will be responsible for marketing, development and revenue enhancement of all products under the Bhaskar banner including the flagship products – Dainik Bhaskar, Divya Bhaskar and Business Bhaskar. Besides these, Namita will also be responsible for the Group’s new launches in the Indian market.
Namita joins Bhaskar Group with a rich experience of 12 years spanning several marketing majors. Prior to joining Bhaskar, Namita worked with the tobacco division of GPI for over 5 years, where she played an important role in product development and new product launches. Prior to that, Namita was with McCann Erickson, where she got an opportunity to work closely with industry leaders such as Perfetti, Nestle, Motorola, Hindustan Times, GPI and Panasonic.
