The BBC is seeking dynamic digital marketing agencies from across the world to join its new roster for international digital communications.
The BBC Global News Division (BBC GND), which includes BBC World Service and BBC World, is seeking to create a small roster of digital creative agencies which will supply top-level strategic advice and cutting-edge creative by using the very latest digital marketing tools.
Over a two-year period they will provide a wide range of digital marketing campaigns promoting specific brands, services, programmes and marketing activity.
The Contract Notice has already been published on the Official Journal of the European Union, and the E-tender process is being managed by the BBC’s central procurement team via its online site, Supplying the BBC, at bbc.co.uk/supplying.
Agencies are invited to register on the site and submit a pre-qualification questionnaire. The closing date for showing initial interest in the tender is Wednesday 31 October 2007.
The final roster will work alongside the BBC’s marketing and communications teams and its media roster agencies.
All the work is highly targeted outside the UK and delivered in a wide range of languages including English. The BBC’s most recent international online campaigns have been aimed at audiences speaking Arabic, Russian, Spanish and Urdu.
BBC GND is the world’s largest international multi-media broadcaster, reaching over 233 million people every week, and aims to be the most trusted and respected voice in international news.
