Bata has achieved the 11th position in the Brand Trust Report 2015 as opposed to 145th position in the previous year. Bata is the only footwear brand to have received this honour and position in the survey.

‘The Brand Trust Report, India Study 2015’ lists 1000 Most Trusted Brands of the country, picked out of 19,000 unique brands, from 270 different categories.
The Brand Trust Report (India) study is an annual study based on a primary research conducted across Indian cities based on TRA’s (Trust Research Advisory) proprietary 61-attribute Trust Matrix, and research associations with the Indian Statistical Institute. It is a comprehensive report on the most trusted brands and has 5 million data points, targeting more than 2500 consumer influencers, based on the primary syndicated data, collected from 16 cities, across India.
The research studies trust attitudes and preferences of brand influencers and it also lists the Most Trusted Brands in India based on the Brand Trust Index.
