BARC ratings reinforce Aaj Tak’s Numero Uno position

The opening ratings by BARC have reinforced the Numero Uno position held by India’s most trusted news channel Aaj Tak. The unchallenged news leader for 14 years since inception has been leading on all major viewership measurement currencies/surveys.

As per BARC, the channel stands as a clear leader with a market share of 24% (Source: BARC Rating System, Market Share%, Week16’15, 8 reported Hindi News Channels). Close on the heels of the recent nonstop 100 weeks supremacy as the clear No. 1 Hindi News channel in India (Source: TAM, TG: CS 15+ Yrs, Market: HSM, Period: Wk 19’13-14’15, 12 Hindi News channels, Share %), the latest ratings by BARC only highlight the all across domination of the leading news channel.
