The Rs. 500 Crore Runwal Group has decided to award its creative duties to AMO Communications Pvt. Ltd., following a multi-agency pitch which started a couple of months ago. The account is pegged to be between Rs. 50 to 70 Million.
The Runwal Group has expertise in developing specialized residential, commercial and retail projects. From pioneering township projects in the Central suburbs to developing 40 properties housing more than 5000 families, the unique state-of-the-art R Mall in Mulund, sprawling commercial complexes as well as new-age township projects, the Runwal Group has set many benchmarks in the real estate arena.
The company currently commands a land bank of 97 Lakh square feet in the prime locations of Thane, Chembur, Mulund, Ghatkopar, Bandra Kurla Complex (BKC) and plans to extend it to Pune and Bangalore.
Jitendra Khokle, COO, AMO Communications, says: “With the extreme clutter and me-too nature of real estate advertising the challenge was to create a unique brand experience that is sustainable and commands a premium in the long-term. We used out proprietary planning models to bring out some unique insights in the category, which we are sure will translate into this brand experience. The fact that Runwal has a presence in Residential, Commercial and Retail verticals just makes the win even more exciting”.
For the record, AMO already handles the creative duties of NEXT, India’s largest retail chain of electronics and durables.
Mr. Sandeep Runwal, Director of the Runwal group said “AMO’s process driven approach and the ability to deliver innovative creative solutions is what swung our final verdict in their favor”. We have a wide spectrum of needs from our communications partners, and AMO, backed by the broad spectrum of offerings from its parent group Percept Limited. seemed the best fit for our needs.
AMO Communications, part of the Percept Hakuhodo network, is also the creative agency for brands like Goa Tourism, TCL Holdings, Next Retail, Asia MotorWorks (AMW), Nissan, Shapoorji Pallonji, BP Ergo, Infosys and The Global Group amongst others.
